spray foam insulation

Spray foam insulation is a very popular form of insulation.  You may be wondering why and here at Sunlight Contractors, our customers reaction to the saving on their heating and cooling bills, answers the question.

Spray foam insulation is the highest r rated insulation on the market.  The density of spf insulation give it the added thickness to do it’s job.  In addition, spf insulation fills into nooks, cracks, and crannies that conventional insulation does not fill.  Spray foam insulation comes in two forms.  Open cell spf insulation is used in attics and roofs.  The open cell spray foam allows moisture to pass through it so the home owner does not have to worry as the roof ages.

Closed cell spf is used in sub floors and crawl spaces.  It seals out moisture, termites, and drafts allowing your floors to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer.   Not only does spray foam insulation save on heating and cooling costs, it saves on the repairs of your house.  This product protects your crawl space from damaging moisture which is an added bonus.  This is advantagous for our southern homes being protected from our southern Louisiana climates.

Sunlight Contractors has offices in Slidell, Louisiana, New Orleans, Louisiana, Kenner, Louisiana, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
